The Goodyear Welt offers the wearer a construction
which provides a strong framework with double
cushioning, whilst the support for the feet cannot
be matched by other footwear making processes.
Welted footwear's manufacturing technique has a
direct bearing on shoes' or boots' ability to retain
their shape in harsh conditions. At the same time
it gives sufficient flexibility which together with the
double cushioning gives a high level of comfort and
allows the footwear to mould to the shape of the foot.
